Print & Create Template System

The overview:
Officeworks Print & Create required a scalable design system that allowed customers to quickly create professional print materials while maintaining a consistent brand experience.

The project involved designing 136+ templates across multiple formats and industries, creating a flexible framework that could support the growing Officeworks print ecosystem.

The challenge:
Officeworks templates needed to work across a wide range of industries and print formats, from flyers and posters to business stationery and promotional signage.

Existing designs lacked cohesion and visual consistency. The goal was to create a system that balanced design quality with ease of use, enabling non-designers to produce polished materials while maintaining strong brand alignment.

The approach:
A modular template framework was developed to guide layout, typography and imagery across all designs.

Templates were organised into themed categories such as business, retail, corporate, café and photography, each with its own visual tone while remaining part of the same design family.

The system ensured designs worked consistently across formats including flyers, posters, rack cards, business stationery and magazines.

Outcome:
The result was a future-proof template ecosystem that allows Officeworks customers to easily create professional marketing materials while maintaining a consistent and contemporary brand experience.

The framework also enables Officeworks teams to efficiently expand the template library as new formats and industries emerge.
